Harry Potter and the Addicted GM

So mousebane, Jye and I watched HPatPoA again last night. I did get a bit over it the second time through, but it was still good. However, and awful, awful thing happened... I seriously began thinking about running an extra year of my old Harry Potter campaign game (where the student PCs come back as teachers, and have to put up with all the shit those awful, awful students cause - not that I'm bitter) or even a sequel to my Harry Potter con game.

The con game part won't happen for at least a year, though, for all you people tempted by the smack down that I would deserve for writing at cons next year.

Sigh.

I'm getting a bit excited about my DnD campaign - the first story arc is really heading towards a climax, and tonight's session will hopefully drive that point home quite effectively. I'm thinking it may be the first session where I really smack the PCs around a whole lot. It wasn't going to be, but then I figured why the hell not? There's a temple which handles ressurection in the city they are trapped in, and the lazy sods haven't gotten themselves killed once yet. No point in having technology if you don't use it. : )

And in reference to my previous post about slashy fan-fiction here: http://www.livejournal.com/users/miss_rynn/166335.html

Let me say that I am equal parts amused and disturbed. A job well done by you all. Now all I have to do is resist the temptation to write any of those horrors you suggested.

So you think you can resist?

Well then... I DARE you to write one of them.

Since I won, does that mean you're going to write a monstrosity? Possibly for NaNoWriMo?

*shudders at the thought of an unchecked, barely coherent, 50,000 word slashfic*

Oh gods, I'm giving her ideas. RUNAWAY!
