My game for Arcon is... well, it's coming along. I realised yesterday that the problem I was having was that I had no endings worked out. The game didn't seem to want to end.

Today I realised another problem was that I had no explainations as to why things were the way they were. Sure, it's supposed to be a spooky, creepy, mysterious game, but I need to have some idea what I'm not telling the players.

Now that I've written out all the stuff which has happened before the game, I think I have a much better idea about what is going on in the game. I'm feeling better about it, but still not fantastic. I want to run a really good game, I really do, but I'm on that edge of "this could be good, or this could suck a huge amount of ass".

We'll see how I go for the rest of today...

Cool - glad to see you're getting somewhere, at least. Do you need playtesters for the game at all? I'm not sure if I'll get to play much at Arc, so I'm all in favour of trying games before the con...

Just remember to tell people that your game sucks, and they can have no beef with you!

I have used that tactic every time I have written for a con.
