Dorky celebrities

So I have this crazy plan after hearing that actor Vin Diesel, of the Chronicles of Riddick, is a DnD nerd who plays a half-orc barbarian. My plan is to run a party of A- and B-list celebrities in a module one day, as a kind of a nerdy dream team.

So far, I've picked Vin Diesel and Wil Wheaton (of Star Trek: The Next Gen fame).

Are there any other DnD playing famous actors (and the like) out there that you guys can think of? Because you generally need at least four players...

: )

You should read more Dork Tower, they made a hillarious serie of comic once about Vin Diesel, Robin Williams and another actor I can't remember of all playing RPG together.

Wasn't Diesel trying to get Dame Judy Dench to play with him? Did he succeed? Maybe we can assume he did, so she's the 'new' player who isn't really all that into it...

Mike Myers also enjoyed playing Dungeons & Dragons when he was young. His gaming experiences later inspired his "Saturday Night Live" character, Lothar of the Hill People.

Cut and paste from some website... If it's on the web, it MUST be true...

Happy happy happy happy birthday! Birthday!
There's always Matthew Lillard (Scooby Doo, Scream, Hackers). Besides, I've always wanted him and Josh to meet :)

Re: Happy happy happy happy birthday! Birthday!
Why? To make sure they're not the same person?

Robin Williams was a warhammer player not a DnD player ... from what I heard ...

Michelle Phifer (sic) was the DnD player

I can't think of any DnD-playing famous people. I'm sorry.

Unless you count me, because I'm going to be a famous B-grade celebrity. Like Bruce Campbell.

And happy birthday, hon.

Gina Gershon and Elizabeth Berkeley both played DnD, apparently the star of Showgirls was once an elven assassin.

"hey, honey, chant some of that babyfat off and you can come back in a thousand years."

David Bowie plays Warhammer 40K (he has an Eldar army...picture *that*...). But I'm sure you could persuade him to play DnD with you, if you dangled some cocaine on a stick...

Dork Tower
the run of dork tower comics about it was called "the league of extraordinary gentle-gamers".
