Ever had one of those days where you start rationalising stupid behaviour?

But then, I tend to make a habit of doing stupid things. My life is one big rationalisation.

And on a more helpful note, don't worry about it, hon. Everyone does stupid things. Most of them do stupider things than you could ever dream of. Trust me, I see these people at work every day.

You mean there are people who don't?

Only my own, usually.

Which is probably hypocritical of me, given how much I enjoy hanging shit on others for their stupidity :)

I don't have to rationalize stupid things I do, they're all because the voices in my head told me to.

Treat the world and all its stupidity as I do. Everyone around me is in one big psychological case study where no matter what I do it can be justified by "I want to see how people react" thus negating any potential for my committing stupid actions, as obviously they're part of my overall plan (This still works if you're doing the same stupid thing repeatedly because obviously the first one was a control and the rest are the sample group). If it's other people acting stupidly, then they obviously aren't mentally equipped to deal with the experiment and a suitable euthanisa device should be appropriated for their immediate use. Like people who haven't learnt where the indicator switch in their car is.

If none of that was helpful, DDR yourself into an endorphin induced bliss haze and pass out.
