DnD Disasters!

Last night's DnD went pretty well. The players finished off the dungeon I dropped them in the session before, and everything went to hell. Quite literally, actually. One of the long-term henchmen/NPCs fell into a planar rift which lead to one of the Infinite Layers of the Abyss, shortly before doomy hellish energies were shot out at a great force and are now forming a huge, doomy, evil ball of demonic energy in the sky above the city. Yay!

This campaign arc is coming to an end, with perhaps two or three sessions left. They wanted large scale calamities and coflicts, and I'm going to give them what they wanted. : )

I've also begun sketching out plans for various story arcs for the second campaign. I have a few kind of cool ideas, and the over-all plot of the campaigns are coming together nicely.

For a girl who is normally rabidly non-dicey, I think things have gone pretty well for a DnD game so far.

My headachefullness is still causing problems. I'm probably going to go to the doctor today, to see if my brain is going to explode in the forseeable future.

And in other news:

I suppose it would be too much to hope that it was Valenta? :)

They have indeed. And for someone who roleplays to get away from dice games, I seem to have ended up with a character that rolls entirely too many of them :)

I think I'll be fine once I remember how to do basic arithmetic, though... multiplication and division are fine, it's adding numbers together that seems to cause the most trouble. Maybe I'm unlearning primary school, from the bottom up...
