mmmm - foodiness

Last night I cooked dinner. Having gotten a little sick and tired of student-esque quick and easy styled dining (some of us are not as good a cook as others), I finally snapped and actually prepared a meal of quality.

Fresh panini-like bread (I forget what the bakery called it), oven-warmed.
Steamed vegetables.
Porterhouse stake, seared and cooked to perfection by yours truly.
Cracked pepper sauce.

Followed by chocolate fudge cake, with a strawberry jam layer in the middle.

It was really, really tasty. It's been ages since... in fact, I don't think I've ever cooked porterhouse before. I was really pleased that I didn't mess it up. And you know what? I'm still full to the gills.

I forget that I can actually cook. I should do it more often.
