I am so very glad that we are terminating our relationship with Thomsons Real Estate. I cannot get across to you how poorly we were treated, in terms of customer service. The property manager for our house changes perhaps five time dur5ing our tenancy, and were were never notified of these changes (thus our messages were never passed on). We were sent 12 month lease renewal forms 11 months late. Repairs that were requested 12 months ago, and general maintenance which was requested 24 months ago, were never adressed. We once had a major water issue (water spewing out from a broken fixture) which took almost 24 hours to get a response from Thomsons regarding what plumber we could call.
They were scum.
We are moving to a property which was advertised with Thomsons and Rendina Real Estate - and we went with Rendina. My experiences with Rendina thus far have been very pleasant. The receptionists are competant, the estate agents answer their mobile phones, and when they don't they return messages.
All I can say is that come the 26th, ding dong the witch is dead.
Also, I'm booking the evening of the 28th of May. You have been warned.
