Friday - start super-planning-frenzy mode

That thing at my house. You know the one. The house-warming/birthday/people getting together randomly thing. My place at 6ish, tomorrow. If want to come and don't know where I live, email/call me or people who do know where my place is. I ain't posting where I live on the internet - too many crazy stalker-types out there.

I can't promise it'll be a good time, but I can certainly promise that there will be home-cooked food. I'm going to be baking and stuff. Also, I am going to splurge and get some caviar!!! I mean, christ, it's only money...

Fitting. Today I pick up my corset and skirt, and go with my mother to the dressmaker to see the mocked-up train (in calico - he didn't want to cut the tartan until he was sure the design would work). It's kind of exciting, but it's also kind of scary. What if nothing fits anymore? What if I can't atucally sit down in the skirt? Maybe this was all a big expensive mistake... and speaking of which, I feel more than a little guilty about the cost of the whole arrangement... but my mother *did* say that she wanted to pay for me to wear a fabulous outfit.

Star Wars nerdiness. I'm going to run a short Star Wars d20 game, you see. Did I tell any of you that you could play? I forget.

Also, bishi_wannabe and I decided last night that my Sith name would be Darth Fectious. It just rolls of the tongue, like a rhinovisus. :)

I am weak, my excuse is that I don't really like many of the things caviar often comes with.

BTW, do you like M&Ms?

Sure, I like M&Ms. I like them best with peanut butter, but then, I am one of them strange American types when it comes to food...

Well a bucket load you shall have. Though I can't condone weird American food practices so you'll have to provide your own peanut butter.

Well, it depends. For some stuff the really cheap imitation stuff is all that is needed. The illegal stuff I don't think is worth the hassle, since it is illegal and bad and stuff. The stuff that I mentioned, if it is as good as people are saying it is is worth if you are up for that kind of thing. Good expensive-ish caviar is much better than caviar that is cheaper (but still dear), since I find the cheaper stuff varies in quality, and paying $80 for smelly stuff is pretty annoying.

It really boils down to how decadent you are and how often you like indulging expensive tastes. Personally I find expensive chocolate more my thing.
