How I feel today...

... It can be summed up with the following;

"Hahahahahah! *PUNCH*!!"

I've been in since 7.45 or so, and could be in until 7.45 or so tonight. I haven't had a decent night's sleep for quite a while, and seem to have been scraping by on 4-6 hours a night for about half a week now. This is FUNNY because I have a huge experiment to do today (under protest, I might add), and as we all know, the more sleep depped you are the more likely you are to make fuckups.

You know those international flights? The ones you have to get up at some ungodly hour for, then go to the airport, then wait in line to check your bag, then wait until you can board the plane, and when you get to the people where you hand your boarding pass to you realise that you're already wrecked and you have a 16 hour flight ahead of you, which you won't be able to get to sleep on, and when you arrive at your destination it's going to be 10 am local time?

That's how I feel right now. That "Goddammit! I hate everything!" feeling. Unfortunately, I don't have sterwardesses to bring me little Junior Flyer captain's wings to make it better.

It's funny, looking back on that. I spent so much of my childhood travelling that I can't imagine what it would be like to have never been babysat by flight attendants, or to never know the thrill (or, at least, it's a thrill when you're 9 years old) of a 26 hour flight when you cross the international date line. I don't have any of those memories of holidays at the beach that everybody else seems to have - my memories are filled with images of international airports, different modles of airplane, departure lounges, and duty free shops.

Rambling. More work to do.

Hmmm? Beaches. How about: Hawaii (Oahu & Kauai), Fiji, Bali, Crete, Ibiza, Manly, Great Barrier Reef, Muscat, Dubai, Fujairah, Mauritius, Koh Samui, Gabon (Port Gentil & Libreville), Florida (east coast) and Texas (Galveston).

Re: Beaches
I meant more like going down to St Kilda beach or something, but point taken.

Re: Beaches
Feel free to drop by anytime you want to visit the beach.

Just to think - you could have been having coffee with me instead...

Congrats on it not taking forever.
