Mystery science theatre

So I had this experiment to do today, which is long and tedious. And I need to go to work this evening. Joy.

Anyway, the bugs I needed weren't ready as early as I would have liked, and I phoned up work to say I might be late. But! My science brain is huge, and my science techniques are mighty, for I zoomed forwards with astounding efficiency and completed said experiment earlier than I had hoped - even for starting on time.

What's more, while I haven't analysed the results properly, at a glance at the rates (I was doing protease assays, don't you know) I'd guess that the whole thing went swimmingly and did exactly what I was expecting.

My science brain is so huge, I'm surprised I can walk through doorways. Go me.

I shall buy you a giant hat.

(And post my story after my very exciting extravaganza weekend of birthday type celebrations!)

Got to admit that I've often thought;

"Nice young lady, shame about the disproportionately large head."

Just you wait till you finish-up and graduate. Your head will be so enormous you'll have to wheel it around in a shopping trolley.

Maybe your science brain is so big and powerful that the unused parts bent reality in such a way as to allow you to fit through doors.
