Training was pretty hardcore on saturday. Engi practice (competition kata, or in other words, my most favourite thing in the universe), bogu practice, and old-school-jikinshi practice. Rock. Most of which was practice for the Otsuka Memorial Cup Competition which is to be held this saturday starting at 2.30 pm at the Kenshikan Dojo. There will be a kendo tournament, and for the first time at the Otsuka, a naginata tournament was well, including engi and shiai for the annual Naginata Nagae Medals.
I'm totally pumped for it.
Unfortunately, I have torn the skin under one of my toes. It stings, which is distracting but not debilitating.
And what else did I do with my holidays? Not a whole lot. I did some work on "The Griffin Crest", some work on my up-coming mini-Star Wars game, and played a whole lot of KOTOR II. Some baking. Some DDR. I spent too much money. You know, that kind of thing.
Anyway, that's about the size of it.
Thanks to matcha_pocky and mousebane for icecream.
